I want to share with you some tips for the police examination that should help you pass this test. What a lot of people don't understand is that the exam put on by the police department is one of the hardest steps when it comes to getting hired. Hundreds and sometimes thousands of people apply for just a few police jobs and they need to have a way to filter through all the candidates. They use an extremely hard exam that fails over 70% of people. If you want this job, than you need to get a strategic advantage over the competition. That's why you should listen to these tips for the police examination.
My first tip is to really spend your time thinking about application of the knowledge you learn. What I mean by that is that a police officer has a lot of regulatory behaviors that they need to follow. Knowing them is good, but being able to apply them to some odd situations is quite important. The exam isn't looking for the theory on being a police officer. They care only that you can be a good one on the job and act in a manner that is expected of you.
Another one of my tips for the police examination is to take the time and study up on identifying people in pictures. On the exam you'll be given a mug shot of someone and you have to identify who it is in another picture (or pictures). This is harder than it looks. Try to find some old pictures of family and friends. Compare them to pictures today to get better at identifying them.
